“In order to finish first, you must first finish.” - Rod Hall

Come meet and visit with the Hall family who continues his legacy of off-road racing through three generations. The celebration will include some of the most iconic vehicles Rod raced, including the legendary Bronco that won the 1967 Baja 1000 overall, as well as an unparalleled collection of off-road racing paraphernalia. Honored guests to include “The GodFather of Off-Road Racing” Sal Fish, Mint 400 CEO Matt Martelli, Parnelli Jones and more.

Rod Hall began competing in off-road racing in the early 1950’s when organized off-road competition was just beginning. In 1967 he won the inaugural NORRA Mexican 1000 Rally (the race now known as the SCORE International Baja 1000) and competed in every 1000 throughout the race's first 50 year history - all in a four-wheeled vehicle. Known as the “Everyman’s Hero” Rod Hall remains the only driver to win Baja overall in a four-wheel-drive vehicle. He accumulated over 160 major event wins and more than a dozen SCORE/HDRA & Best in the Desert (BITD) championship titles.

His string of 35 consecutive race wins in the early 1980s remains the longest unbroken string of race victories in off-road racing history. Rod has inspired regular people all over the world to take up the challenge of off-road racing embracing the true spirit of off-road culture. Rod’s impact in global off-road road culture goes well beyond desert off-road racing into multiple disciplines including rock crawling, rock racing, UTV racing, and rally raid. The event is supported by the Off-Road Motorsports Hall of Fame, Dirt Co. and Mad Media.

Can’t make the event? Join us Wednesday November 20th at 4pm for The “Dinner of Champions” at Deckman’s in Guadalupe Valley, Baja California honoring the legacy of Rod Hall.
